October 18, 2002 To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Regina Ames. Ms. Ames worked for my firm, Cotchett, Pitre, Simon & McCarthy as a law clerk this summer, and was invited back to work part time during the school year. She was assigned to me this summer, and quickly established herself as someone who can produce first rate work product. She is an excellent writer who can draft briefs and memoranda which are not only well written, but also thoroughly researched and well thought out. For example, several of her research memos were turned into briefs which were filed with the Court with little or no modification. As a result, several other attorneys, including the name partners, specifically sought her out to work on complex projects because they knew that she is capable of such high quality work. Moreover, she always has a great attitude, works well with attorneys, clerks ans support staff alike, and projects a willingness to learn and grow not only as an attorney, but also as a person. Regina will be a great asset wherever she works; and, I only wish I could convince her to work exclusively for me. But, it is apparent that she will have many options and will succeed in whatever she decides to do. It is therefore with great pleasure that I highly recommend Regina Ames. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Sincerely, Robert G. Retana | |||
